Smoking like any habit is very difficult to break through using willpower alone because the habit becomes a deeply ingrained part of who you are. Smoking often starts at an early age through a conscious decision and before long it becomes an addictive habit.
You slowly begin to realise that you rely on cigarettes in certain situations, and associate smoking with certain activities. Once this process has begun, the choice to smoke is no longer controlled by the conscious, it becomes as habitual and automatic as brushing your teeth in the morning.
This is why when you decide to give up it can seem extremely difficult.
Non-smokers do not think about or desire cigarettes because they have not developed a habitual mind-set, just like once it was not your mind set either.
Once you were a non-smoker who could go about life without even one thought about cigarettes.
You didn’t have to go around suppressing cravings, and you didn’t have to avoid certain situations or friends who smoke.
The aim of the smoking cessation sessions is to reprogram the subconscious back to the non-smoker you once were.
Quit smoking hypnosis is great because you should not have to feel like something is missing, because the subconscious need and expectations for you to smoke are targeted with my quit smoking program.
My goal is that you become completely unbothered by cigarettes and those who smoke around you, ultimately you become a non-smoker, not an ex-smoker.
