How does hypnosis help you lose weight?
Weight loss is a complex and personal issue, but most people can follow a diet plan and lose weight for some time, the common problem arises that when the diet ends or becomes too restrictive people just go back to the old ways of eating and behaving and regain the weight.
The reason willpower alone can’t make you lose weight is due to the subconscious mind.
There are two part of your mind. The Conscious and the Subconscious.
Your conscious mind is where your logic, willpower and power to reason is contained.
The subconscious on the other hand lacks any logic or reasoning ability and learns through association i.e. good vs. bad.
The subconscious routinely controls our everyday actions, tasks and habits. A great example is the habit of brushing your teeth every morning which is an automatic association between waking up and using the bathroom in the morning.
When you decide to start a diet your willpower alone can only last so long because the subconscious is still acting upon ingrained habits around food and eating, and going back to old behaviour patterns that derail the diet.
The subconscious is very powerful. When conflict arises with the conscious mind the subconscious will always prevail.
But by creating new associations in the subconscious mind through hypnotherapy, you can align the conscious decision to lose weight and be healthy with the power of the subconscious and experience a great focus, determination and motivation.
Hypnosis ultimately removes the friction between your conscious decision and your subconscious motivation.

What happens in the weight loss program sessions?

How Does the Program Work?
The Permanent Weight Loss Hypnotherapy Program is 3 hours face to face sessions of hypnotherapy, counselling and NLP.
The sessions can either be 3 x 1 hours or a single 3 hour session, if taking the 3 x 1 hour option the sessions can be spaced between 3 and 10 days apart.
Over the past 12 years of clinical practice I have helped 100s of people with their health and motivation issues on the hypnotherapy program.
I know from years of clinical experience that hypnotherapy can be a very effective treatment in helping to recondition the subconscious to change the way you think and feel.
